This is… beautiful. The opening notes alone are perfect, never mind the rest of the piece. The modulation around ~1 minute… classic Mega Man, and perfect 8 bit music.
Listening to this and just taking deep breaths… I don’t know whether to feel blissful or plain old, as it takes me back to 1996. And, clichéd as that might sound, to a whole different world when I close my eyes.
Feeling nostalgic in your mid 20s is a weird thing.
